Manfred Behr started what was to become one of Germany largest fishing tackle company from his garage in 1977. Today, Behr Angelsport GmbH is a thriving enterprise specialized in terminal tackle and sportswear with business partners in many countries . Many of his  23 employees also speak English,  French and Russian. As manufacturer and wholesaler, Behr Angelsport GmbH works exclusively with dealers offering more than 8000 items including its own brands’ : ICEBEHR for winter clothing, BEHRsports for leisure clothing, EUROLITE chemical lights, TRENDEX lures and spinners, EUROBITE electronic bite indicators, YASHIDA and MARACAY hooks, TRENDplus fishing lines and saltwater brand SEABEHR. Currently a new product has being launched, the Trendex ® Flashing Power Light, a smart gadget to attach to the line or directly to the lure and by its blinking LED light attract and so catch more fish, especially in the twilight (the light can last up to 100 hours, reach a depth of 50m and be visible from up to 25m ).
