Fishing Boat ReviewsThese fishing boats reviews section is a general overview which help me in the first place to understand what each fishing boat models have to offer.
if you want really good advices on fishing models, this website by Zach, a Montana fly guide, is the best website to find help, guidance, insights and tips! For instance, the tip on the Watermaster above I got it from his fantastic website which I highly recommend. When I think of a boat, I also think of the potential dangers when using them. Even on an Swiss lake (generally small - witht he exception of the Geneva lake - in comparison to the big lakes of the USA and Canada). But if you read about the watermaster, it has been tested on lakes and rivers safely. It can even tackle white waters! Uusually, inflatable are portable and less prone to capsizing or flip over than a boat because they catch less wind. However here is a section on boat safety which pertains to them, too. After all, whenever I enter water I know it's not my "natural" environment.
Fishing boat reviews - miscellaneous Althought there exist a 2 man fishing boat, I would rather prefer fishing on my own, yes, in company with a friend on his own boat, too. But perhaps, if you have a girl-friend, a partner or children it could be very nice to share the same experience. Considering an Alaska fishing boat, I would first look for the advice of a local fly guide. Most probably, the boat offered is for saltwater fishing. A Kayak or canoe is what I would like to try, though. Bow fishing is a special technique using an arch for fishing isntead of a rod. It's unseen over here in Europe. A bow fishing boats are usually flat bottom fishing boats (like those small aluminium fishing boats picture I can see on the net, or the Lowe fishing boats so popular in the USA...) with sometimes a custom made pedestal for people to stand higher on the water. I am not utterly interested in this kind of fishing which requires a lot of equipment, trailing and consequently lot of fossil fuel waste in the ned (sorry but I have a little "green" sensitivity) I was talking baout the Lowe fishing boats (founded in 1971). These are mainly flat bottom, aluminium fishing boats but you can also find jet fishing boats.
For used aluminium fishing boats, and so cheap fishing boat the demand is steady, with seasonal peaks obvioulsy (see chart below) and I usually consider an eBay search. Here below is an example: The trend for aluminium fishing boats is however on steady slump. Environmental issues or simply less fishermen?
