Colorado fly fishing is not only a statement of an overall habit and passion (Rolf Baginski in his book wondered if there were any people not fishing during the week-end in Colorado) but also synonym for care and love of bamboo rods. Twice a year there is a gathering of bamboo rod makers.

Michael Sinclair ( author of several publications like "colorado Cane Rods") told me in my interview that he especially likes fishing in the White River Valley in northwest Colorado near the town of Meeker.
