Original, hardcover books on fishing reels can be colelction pieces on their own. The higher the scarcity, the higher the price.
As an example, the 1985's "Meisselbach and Meisselbach-Catucci Fishing Reels : A Collector's Guide (Hardcover)" by Phil White (Author) reaches 130$ on Amazon and there is only one item available (1 October 2008).
So this is probably a good investment as well, not to mention that you need the information to deepen your knowledge of that particular brand of antique fishing reel.

These are in many cases the instruction manuals which were originally inlcuded with the reel. Guessed it? Yes, a collectible item on its own! The box, too!
This is a DVD that I will definetely want to watch. It's the only DVD that i found of this kind and because I enjoy documentary movies so much, I cannot but to warmly point it out.
If you know any other DVD on the subject, let me know, please!
