Certainly the trout series is worth considering. It's used by professionals . Some prefer lighter reels but for myself it would ideal and I learned that this is never a reel people are disappointed of.

The Anti reverse is definetely for the serious angler. Superb finish, super smooth but high price tag! Portuguese cork drag system and aerospace material A dream to try!

I found the 2011 Abel catalogue a great reading, too, with superbe "exploded" drawings of the reel parts. I could see for instance very well the cork used for their drag system and the mechanical parts in good detail.
